If you are a member of a Law Enforcement Agency and would like your agency to participate in Trace, please fill out the form below. The executive authorizing this request does not have to be the Chief executive, providing they have the formal authority to approve this application on behalf of the submitting agency.
Once we receive your request, it will be verified through a phone call to your agency. This process can take up to 7 days. Once completed, you will receive an e-mail advising you that your agency account has been activated. During the sign up process, we encourage you to sign up as a civilian searcher. Thank you.

Before registering, please check to see if your agency has already registered with Trace. If so, please contact your agency administrator, who has the ability to add additional law enforcement users on behalf of your agency.

If you are a US law enforcement agency, the easiest way to check is by entering your agency ORI. If you are a police agency outside the US or you do not know your ORI, simply enter your Country, State (if applicable), City, and Agency name, to determine if your agency has been activated in Trace.
